An experience rather than an instruction

A gentle way in.

This work is offered as an experience rather than an instruction.

It tracks a clear evolution from inner perception → relational pain → widened consciousness → quiet integration.

Where imagery is suggested, it reflects the writer's lived perception at the time of writing. I fully acknowledge that each reader will experience these poems differently, shaped by their own history, sensory preference, emotional landscape, and inner world.

I welcome and honour your interpretations, reflections, and perceptions as part of this work's unfolding.

Throughout the book, small icons accompany the poem titles. These icons are not directions, rules, or requirements. They are gentle suggestions — an indication of the primary sensory doorway through which the poem was written, or through which it may most easily be received.

Some readers naturally see images. Others feel emotion or bodily resonance. Some hear rhythm, cadence, or inner sound. You are free to ignore these icons entirely, or to use them as a soft invitation into the poem.

This collection is called Rivers of Light because the central theme running through these works is the experience of light as a living, transformational energy. Not something to be owned, mastered, or controlled — but something that flows. When allowed to move freely through perception, memory, pain, love, stillness, and surrender, this light expands awareness and deepens consciousness.

The poems trace moments where such a flow was received, resisted, questioned, or finally allowed.

There is no correct way to read this work. Move slowly. Pause often. Let what resonates stay and allow the rest to pass.
